This week, I was able to sit down and chat with a few villains. Some of them were pleasant. Some of them… not so much. Enjoy this interview with the villain from Devious Love by Diana Flame.

Dutchess Isolde…Okay, maybe not Baroness, but I am of noble birth you know.

Where are you from?

The kingdom of Izadel.

What crime did you commit that got you labeled as a villain?

Pft. I didn’t commit a crime per say…I did what any woman in my position would do when faced with circumstance like mine. Alright, if you must know … my three husbands passed away … unexpectedly … by poison … that I administered. Shit, there, I killed them all… are you happy now?

Uh, okay. Um… Do you think you’re a villain or are you just misunderstood? Explain.

*dabbing her eyes … fake tears* No one understands me. *sniffle* I had to do what I had to survive you know. I am a g-go-g-… *she wants to gag as she is unable to enunciate the word good.* Oh come on, I’m bad. Is that what you want to hear?

Oh, shut up.

Do you think you have an anger problem?

*Sneers…* Me? No, I do what needs to be done, quite calmly and collectively.

Do you believe in love and happy endings?

Perhaps … we’ll see.

What’s your deepest, darkest desire?

To carve out my lover’s heart from his chest just at the height of his rapture. That moment he screams my name I want to plunge my dagger in and twist … oh… never mind me. Happy endings … yes happy endings fer sure. *sly grin*

Really? Wow! I’m going to ignore that and continue. What’s your goal in life? What’s one thing you’d like to accomplish before you die?

To see Cinderella suffer a painful and most excruciating death … but first I want to seduce her mate, so see what it’s like to mate a bear shifter.

(SMH) Do you want to have children one day?

I have two too many. Unless Stevyn wants. I’d do anything for that hot chocolate hunk of a man. *runs fingers along neck while tongue glides across her lips*

Where do you see yourself in the next five years?

Non a yer darn binezz.

Either when I want to be.

Describe your perfect life partner?

Tall, chocolate and sexy. Stevyn, that delicious knight with the chestnut stallion. Great ass and a scrumptious lips.

Do you think you deserve a happy ending and why or why not?

Had it not been fer that meddling Cinderella, I wouldn’t be in this here situation. Of course I deserve a happy ending.

I heard you was given a second chance. Do you think you deserved it?

I deserve a happy ending and I dare you to object!

Wow! Okay. Well, did you use your second chance wisely?

*Looks blankly at interviewer*

Okay. I guess that means you didn’t. Um, If you could choose another villain to be your side-kick, who would it be?

I don’t need no blasted sidekick, I work alone, got that? Now stop asking questions and mind yer own darn binezz!
