Q&A with author Chicki Brown.

We caught up with author Chicki Brown to ask her a few questions about her new release, You Know How To Love Me.

#1: Describe what your hero and heroine would consider the perfect date night.

Chelsea and Ike prefer to spend time alone rather than go out. Their perfect night would be fixing dinner together, watching a sexy movie, and sex until they are worn out!

#2: What does your hero love about your heroine and what does your heroine love about your hero?

Ike loves that Chelsea is so sensible with money and she rarely goes for the most expensive item, which is the exact opposite of his ex.

Chelsea loves Ike’s swagger combined with his intelligence. She admires how he has risen to a management position on his job.

#3: For your hero and heroine, was it love at first sight or lust at first sight?

That’s the question that Chelsea is constantly asking herself. The first thing she was attracted to was Ike’s good looks and sex appeal, and she has to come to terms with her true feelings for him.

With Ike it was definitely lust at first sight when he met Chelsea.

Chelsea Olson has always been a rebel. Growing up as the daughter of a conservative southern preacher, she never accepted his narrow-minded views, especially those about interracial dating and marriage. In fact, since high school her preference has been black men. But she’s never had a serious relationship with anyone. Then she meets Isaac “Ike” Sloane.

Ike is handsome, successful and family-oriented, everything Chelsea has ever imagined in a man, and she wants him. Will outside forces and attitudes stop them from experiencing the love they have both wanted?
