This week, we caught up with author L. Loren to ask her a few questions about her biker romance, The Taming of LaRue. Enjoy!
Interview question #1: Describe what your hero and heroine would consider the perfect date night.
The heroine, LaRue “Church Mouse” Simmons is a simple girl who loves sports and food. She would enjoy a quiet night alone with her man eating Bar-B-Que in front of the tv watching women’s basketball followed by hot sex.
Interview question #2: What does your hero love about your heroine and what does your heroine love about your hero?
Ace loves that Mouse challenges him. She has a smart mouth that appeals to him sexually, but he also loves that she is loyal beyond fault. She will always have his back, even if she doesn’t agree.
Mouse loves Ace’s surly demeanor. He is rough around the edges, but he loves her unconditionally. He is supportive and protective, which speaks to her on a deep level.
Interview question #3: For your hero and heroine, was it love at first sight or lust at first sight?
They both had lust at first sight, but Ace was in love as well. It took a minute for Mouse to catch up to his feelings.
The Taming Of LaRue…
LaRue “Church Mouse” Simmons is a feisty pain in my ass. I knew I loved her when we met in that biker bar two years ago. She blew me off then, but now she’s back and needs my help. I will do anything to show her she belongs with me. Even help her avenge her father’s death. If I can only get her to curb that attitude and listen, we’ll get along just fine. But, who said love was easy? She’s stubborn, independent and thinks she knows everything. I’m a surly bastard who enjoys the game more than she knows. It’s going to be fun taming LaRue.
