This week, I was able to sit down and chat with a few villains. Some of them were pleasant. Some of them… not so much. Enjoy this interview with the villain from Untangled by L. Loren.

What’s your name?
My Government name is Goliath Brown, but I am known in the business world as Gugu Brown.

Where are you from?
If you must know, I hail from Gohisca, NC in the earthly realm of the living.

What crime did you commit that got you labeled as a villain?
First of all, watch your mouth. I am no criminal. I am a survivor of being bullied. Let’s just say my bullies were not so lucky. That’s all I have to say about that.

Do you think you’re a villain or are you just misunderstood? Explain.
Some people think just because I rule with an iron fist over my workers, I am a bad person. It’s not my fault they agreed to work long hours for pennies and no vacations. At least I don’t yell like I used to.
They call me vicious; I say I’m running a business, a very profitable one. They all have the option of working elsewhere, but they all flock to my front doors to make and market my cosmetics. Plus, my company is known for using all-natural products and NO animal testing. Yep, I’d say I am misunderstood.

If you’re not the villain, who is?
People who bully others about the way they look are the real villains. Those are the worst kind of people. When I run across one, I squash them like a bug.

Do you think you have an anger problem?
I’d have to say my anger gets away from me at times, but I have learned to control it for the most part. As a result, I must say that no I don’t have a problem. Anger is a human emotion and should be embraced. If you never experience anger, how would you know what bliss felt like? Riddle me that.

Do you believe in love and happy endings?
Growing up I never believed in happy endings, but when I met my boyfriend Sin, he changed all of that. He made me believe in love and that we could live a happy life together.

What’s your deepest, darkest desire?
That’s none of your business. Next question!

Oh, okay. Um, moving on. What’s your goal in life? What’s one thing you’d like to accomplish before you die?
Before I die, I would like to make every person who ever felt ugly, feel beautiful, like me.

Do you want to have children one day?
NO, I detest the little crumb snatchers.

Where do you see yourself in the next five years?
Kicking down the doors of hell and taking that bitch over.

Let’s get personal. When it comes to sex, are you dominant or submissive?
I like to think of myself as a Dom, but my man, Sin seems to like the Dom role. I have no problem submitting to him. At least he thinks I am submitting, but everybody knows the sub holds all the power, so I’m good.

Describe your perfect life partner?
A man’s man who understands my bad side and doesn’t judge me. He sees how beautiful my heart is and not just what’s on the outside. Looks are secondary, but I love a man with a sexy beard and a tight mouth game. You know what I’m saying?

Do you think you deserve a happy ending and why or why not?
Of course, I deserve a happy ending! What kind of question is that? In my opinion, everyone deserves a happy ending.

Nice answer. See, you’re not so bad… sometimes. I heard you was given a second chance. Do you think you deserved it?
Well, now you asked the million-dollar question. Hell naw, I don’t deserve a second chance, but I’ll take that bitch and run with it.

Did you use your second chance wisely?
The first time. I’ll be honest. I was consumed with revenge and it caused me to see some things in me that I didn’t like. Then I asked for another do-over and that time I learned my lesson. It was the only way to achieve my ultimate goal of falling in love and being able to enjoy it.

If you could choose another villain to be your side-kick, who would it be?
She’s no longer a villain either. If you ask her, she’ll tell you that she never was. I think we were both misunderstood. I’m talking about none other than The Eternal Witch, Celeste Dubois. I think she and I could be great friends, but not necessarily a sidekick. We are both too fabulous to relinquish our titles.

Gugu, it was actually really nice talking to you. Thanks for doing the interview. I know you’re a busy woman. Readers, I hope you enjoyed this conversation with a villain. Be sure to grab a copy of Untangled to learn all about Gugu and her new boo, Sin.
